2012 Toyota Highlander Hybrid
The main transaxle propulsion motor (MG1) in the transaxle failed with a burned up stator which caused the power inverter electronics to melt and fry. This was a major repair.

Balance Charging
Gen 2 Toyota Prius Traction Battery Pack
Gen2 Toyota Prius high voltage battery electrical testing. A series of diagnostic tests performed with the battery in and out of the car are necessary for proper diagnosis.
Correctly performed balance charging is required to bring the traction battery to the proper state of charge before reinstallation.
